     Sister Act Creations is a unique and artful jewelry and accessories company founded by two sisters Carmen Kelley and Sylvia Mims. After many years of corporate business experience they felt their creative dreams were unfulfilled. After exploring several possibilities they decided that their personal love of art, jewelry and fashion could be expressed in creating wearable art and accessories, as well as giftware and items for the home. Sylvia's down to earth and easy going personality are reflected in her creative style of earthy tones and flowing deisgns. She is inspired by nature's backdrop of color and beauty. Carmen's free spirit and whimsical nature are personified in her work. She likes to play at making art; often creating bold and dramatic deisgns. Her inspiration comes from her love of nature. Carmen's works of art are often mixed media pieces combining several types of materials.

     Jo Moncrief is continually turning the natural world around her into abstract compositions. On walks near her home, she follows the patterns of shadows on the ground, the sun's reflection on buildings and her surroundings and the intricate cracks and shading on the sidewalk. She studies the texture and pattern of different people's faces and figures and turns them into abstract images. Jo's artwork can be found in galleries and many of the top juried art festivals in the United States.

     All three artists work will be on display in our gallery through April 2, 2010.
