"I'm writing to tell you how pleased I am with Marshall Motors' work in restoring my M6. This was a significant project and you and your team performed in the most professional manner. From the very beginning it was clear to me that I was working with people who took a personal interest in my car and were focused on producing a high quality outcome. The results speak for themselves. My car is likely one of the best examples of this vintage M6 around.

This could not have been possible without the attention to detail and the hands on project management that Chuck gave the car. This was especially critical given that there were other vendors involved and that we had to find parts from numerous sources. He did terrific work and made a complicated project look easy.

Richard is one of the best automotive technicians I've encountered. He did a fantastic job and more importantly, it was clear that he takes a great deal of pride in his work.

In any complex activity, there is a premium on good communication. You and Chuck made this a priority from the start and as a result, I really felt as though I was a part of the team. One outcome of going the extra mile to keep me involved and informed was that I developed a high level of trust in Marshall Motors. With a project that spans several months, there is always a possibility that a problem will arise. In our case, there were practically no problems; and what issues that did surface were handled quickly and with maintaining excellent customer relations as the main priority.

The combination of all of this have me driving my restored M6 with the feeling that I received real value for my money and that Marshall Motors was a place that I could confidently recommend to others.

I plan to put my car out on a variety of M6 and BMW sites to create some awareness of the car, with an eye toward selling it in 2 or 3 years. I will make it a point to give Marshall Motors a high level of visibility. Its the least I can do for you making this project such an excellent experience.

Also, I'm on the hunt for my next vehicle to restore. I will keep you posted on my progress and would like to stay in touch with you for your advice to assure I make a good decision."

“If I could give Marshall Motors more than 5 stars, I would! I took my Audi A4 1.8T into their shop for the first time in October 2011 to have routine maintenance like my belt and water pump replaced. They completed that work, as well as replacing my entire vacuum system, which had multiple leaks in it. The entire experience was filled with friendly, helpful and competent people. The biggest thing that happened was that after my maintenance repairs were made, January Marshall did her best to help me out when other issues cropped up, and I wasn't in the Dallas area. She made suggestions on mechanics in a couple of different cities and has given me the most incredible customer service of my life! Thank you!”

“January & Thom Marshall are brother & sister owners that specialize in German and Japanese cars. They dub themselves the "dealer alternative" and were actually recommended to me by a BMW dealership.

“I love them. I just had a lot of work done there. They were straight-forward, honest, and good. It's a well run business. They pay attention to the little things. Rob, the front office guy, called me every day (sometimes more than once or even twice) to update me on the progress of diagnosing and fixing my car. They returned my car freshly and thoroughly cleaned. For a $40 dollar charge, they will deliver your car to you. The invoice was detailed, understandable, an labor time was charged by tenths of an hour.

“I had a great talk with January when she drove me home from the shop. She won't hire people who are "looking for a job." She hires people who are passionate about cars because she is and because you get a better product from people who like what they do. Moreover, there was one thing I didn't want to spend the money on, but it drove January crazy when she drove the car so she replaced it as a "gift."

“Their lobby is neat and comfortable. No blaring TV. The employees are nice people. Also, the Marshalls use their lobby to host a different local artist every month. Every 3rd Thursday of the month, they host a wine and cheese showing for the artist.
